 Last May, we welcomed you to an evening of warm highland tradition in support of Calgary’s primary reserve infantry regiment, the Calgary Highlanders, and as an added bonus, the Coronation of King Charles III on the same date. 

 

 

The 74th Grand Highland Military Ball takes place at Calgary’s Fairmont Palliser on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. We are highlighting our proud participation in the challenges that our country faces today and in the future.

This theme pays tribute to the rich military history that has shaped our present and acknowledges the unwavering strength and resilience of our armed forces today. Furthermore, it sets the stage for a future marked by triumphs that we, as a community, can contribute to through our collective support of the Calgary Highlanders.

THE POWER OF YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Your support through the Ball will benefit the Calgary Highlanders Regimental Funds Foundation (CHRFF), helping to sustain the soldiers and their families of the Calgary Highlanders. The Regiment is in an intense training cycle to prepare for a number of deployments in the coming years.  We anticipate deploying soldiers in 2024 to Latvia to support NATO’s effort to stand up to Russian aggression.  We will also be training Ukrainian soldiers in the United Kingdom.

 

The Foundation provides for the needs of these remarkable citizen-soldiers, whether it's sending care packages to deployed soldiers, funding the cadet program for future leaders, or supporting the family association. The Foundation’s Board is composed of all volunteers who are deeply grateful for your generosity as they serve with passion and purpose.

Tickets for the 74th Grand Highland Military Ball are available with a donation to the CHRFF. We gratefully welcome donations to the CHRFF in any amount. For donations under $1,000, if you would like to attend the ball, please indicate your interest, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
